Summer Reading Celebration

Summer Reading Celebration is an enjoyable activity that everyone can participate in and all can afford because it's FREE.

The eight-week-long program encourages recreational reading as a family activity, offering fun prizes as rewards for reaching each reading milestone.

Starting June 14, 2008, pick up your Reading Log at the Summer Reading Celebration desk in your neighborhood library!

Entertaining programs are scheduled weekly at libraries throughout the city.

This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library, Round Table Pizza, the San Jose Mercury News, with additional support from Bay Area Parent™ and other community organizations, including branch library Friends groups.
