Group Study Rooms at King Library

There are 36 rooms for groups of 2-12 people located throughout the King Library. These are dedicated to small group use for studying or working on projects.

• All study rooms have network connections for laptops.

Study Rooms at San José Public Library Branches

Almaden, Berryessa, Cambrian, Cruz Alum Rock, Edenvale, Evergreen, Rose Garden, Tully, Vineland and West Valley branches have rooms dedicated to small group use for studying or working on projects. These rooms must be reserved online:

Public Meeting Rooms at King Library

Meeting Room Suites labeled 225 and 229 (combined 225/229) and Lecture Rooms labeled 255 and 257 (combined 255/257) on the 2nd Floor of King Library are available for meetings and public forums sponsored by organizations and groups affiliated with the Library, San José State University, CSU system or City of San José.

• These rooms may be scheduled on a one-time use basis by community groups which meet the set requirements.

Community Rooms at San José Public Library Branches

The San José Public Library allows not-for-profit community groups to use the Community Rooms at the following branch libraries. Included for each branch is the room capacity in persons and features of the room.

• Almaden : 69 capacity, sink + overhead projector / digital hook-ups

• Cambrian : 100 capacity, sink + AV equipment / digital hookups
  
  
• Dr. Roberto Cruz - Alum Rock : 100 capacity + sink
  
  
• Edenvale : 100 capacity + sink
  
  
• Evergreen : 112 capacity + sink
  
  
• Rose Garden : 78 capacity, sink + AV equipment
  
  
• Tully Community : 109 capacity, sink + digital hook-ups
