Partners in Reading Tutor



Tutor and learner catching up on current news A PAR tutor provides one-to-one or small group tutoring in reading and writing for a minimum of two hours per week for at least six months. Learners are adults who speak conversational English, 18 years of age or older. Tutoring takes place in the King Library, in branches of the San José Public Library system and other public sites in San José.
