Equipment / Service | ADA PC Workstations
The King Library offers the Adaptive Technology Center (ATC) to SJSU users as well as various ADA workstations throughout the Library for all users. Please see below for equipment availability and locations.

JAWS for Windows, and MaGic |

ADA-designated computers are loaded with JAWS and MaGic. JAWS is a screen reader for Windows programs and Internet browsers. MaGic is a screen magnification program that enlarges text, including Internet pages. Use Policy

Kurzweil 1000™ Software & Scanner |

Kurzweil 1000™ is software that makes printed or electronic text readily available to blind or visually impaired people.
The software speaks text aloud and also gives users the ability to write and edit documents, complete simple forms independently, take notes, summarize content and outline text.
The Library also provides headphones to use with this software.

Rollator is a four-wheel walking aid with easy-grip ergonomic handles, a seat for resting and a handy basket to hold library materials.
Borrow for in-library use on an "as available" basis.
