Wireless Access for the SJSU Community

To access the SJSU wireless network, members of the SJSU community must have an active SJSUOne account. Currently enrolled students and currently employed faculty and staff are eligible for SJSUOne accounts.

Go to SJSUOne Account Management for more information and to activate your account.

How to Activate Your SJSUOne Account (printable instructions - 789K PDF)

About Your SJSUOne Account

  • An SJSUOne account is completely separate from a MySJSU/CMS/PeopleSoft account. The MySJSU/CMS/PeopleSoft username starts with a "W"; the SJSUOne username is the nine-digit number exactly as it appears on the back of your Tower Card.

  • An SJSUOne account must be reactivated after any period during which a student is not taking classes, such as during summer break.

  • An SJSUOne account has a password that must be changed every 180 days.

SJSU Laptops

If you have an SJSUOne account but no laptop computer, you may borrow a laptop with wireless capability from the Library's SJSU Student Computer Service for use while in the King Library.
