To use wireless access, a member of the general public needs a San Jose Library Card and a library PIN.

See Requirements and Connection Instructions for Wireless Use for information on computer requirements and how to connect to the wireless network.

See How to Log In to Wireless for Members of the General Public for log-in instructions. (printable PDF instructions)

Members of the general public who would like wired access to the Internet may use the library’s DSL network. See Bringing Your Own Laptop.
