  • The California Room will not allow photocopying or scanning of any materials when this process could damage the materials.
  • The copying or scanning of fragile, brittle, or aged items in poor condition is not permitted.
  • The same restrictions also apply to oversize, tightly bound, or older books whose binding or pages run the risk of damage if attempts are made to force them flat on the surface of a copier or scanner.
  • Copying of fragile/at-risk materials is permitted if a digital camera is used without a flash.
  • California Room customers photocopying materials from this Room have first priority over all other users.
