Teen Read Week Writing Contest 2006

To celebrate TEEN READ WEEK in October 2006, teens throughout San Jose were invited to enter a writing contest. They were asked to share their thoughts with others and explain what the following quote meant to them:

"Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are."
