See if the Library has the books you find while surfing booksellers' websites like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, BooksAMillion, etc.

Installation for Firefox:

  1. You must be using Firefox and have its "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible. If you do not, go to View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar.
  2. Don't click the following link. Instead, DRAG this SJLibrary Lookup link to the Bookmarks Toolbar.
  3. Next time you are on a bookseller's book web page, simply click the SJLibrary Lookup button in the Bookmarks Toolbar. A Library Catalog web page will open, showing if the Library has the book. Any site that has the book's ISBN in the page URL will work with the Bookmarklet. If you get a blank page with a number, this means that an ISBN was not present.
