Donating Books

Books on display in King Library Friends Book Store Donated books and other materials are an important resource for the Library. Items are accepted for donation in a number of categories.

Gently used books and media may be donated to the Friends of the Library. You may take your donations to the King Library or any San José Public Library Branch location. Click here for more information.

Proceeds from Friends book sales benefit the King Library and San José Public Library branches. Click here for more about library book sales.

SJSU normally accepts donations of materials only for Special Collections and from SJSU faculty for University research collections. SJSU faculty should contact the University Library Acquisitions Analyst Catherine E. Perez, (408) 808-2453.
