Volunteer Opportunities at the San José Public Library

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available at library locations across the city. Volunteering at the library is a terrific way to use your talents, provide valuable service to the community, learn new skills and meet great people! Some of the current opportunities include helping adults learn to read, giving tours of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library, reading to children, and providing general assistance at the library.

Below is an overview of current volunteer opportunities. For the complete job description of each opportunity click on the name of the volunteer opportunity. To apply for a volunteer position, print out the application and return it to Volunteer Services, the address is on the application.
