Teen Read Month and Art Contest

Slammin' @ your library theme poster

October 19, 2003 -

October is Teen Read Month at San José Public Library. All branches and the King Library downtown take this opportunity to remind you that reading can be a fun and relaxing activity when you make the choice; not least because it's free when you use your public library! There's so much more to choose from these days, whether you prefer to read books, magazines or paperbacks. And don't forget, we also offer videos, DVDs, audio books and CDs. Stop by any library location to find out how to get a free library card. Need to find your closest library?

Take note of the following special activities and contact your local branch or the King Library for more details:

Teen Art Contest: October 19 - November 1
