Tours

General Tour
One hour Docent-led general tours of King Library include the building's design, collections and art.

Drop-in Tours: Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. Tours are filled on a first come, first served basis. Please sign up for a tour at the Information Desk in the lobby of the King Library. Note: No tours on Nov. 22 or Dec. 27

Group Tours: Groups of 10 to 60 participants must make a group tour reservation.

Art Study Tour
An in depth Docent-led tour of Mel Chin's award winning public art is available by reservation. Tours can accommodate a group of up to 20 people and last for 1.5 hours.

Tour Reservations
General tours for groups of 10 to 60 participants and Art Study Tours for up to 20 people must be reserved by the 15th of the month for the following month. To book a tour, complete the Tour Reservation Form. You may fax the form to Volunteer Services at (408) 808-2133 or mail the completed form to Volunteer Services, 150 East San Fernando Street, San Jose, CA 95112.

Become a Docent
