The Friends of the Edenvale Library is a volunteer organization involved in advocating the importance of library services in our community, promoting awareness and raising funds for Child, Youth, Teen, and Adult programs, not covered by library funding, which benefits the patrons of the Edenvale Branch of the San Jose Public Library. This is primarily accomplished through the sale of donated used books and media.

How to Join
Everyone interested in supporting the Edenvale Branch Library is welcome to join the Friends. Just fill out this form and mail it in to the address above. Any questions, contact the Membership Chairperson, Mary Miller at robertmillerr@comcast.net.
We also invite everyone interested in joining our organization to attend our members’ meeting held at the Community Room of the Edenvale Library. Meetings are usually held on the third Saturday of each month. Our current schedule of activities can be viewed online at: http://sites.google.com/site/edenvalefriends/
Book Sales
There are books in the lobby sale area available for purchase at any time that the library is open. To find the lobby sale area: enter the front door and proceed to the back of the building, turning left at the "Internet Café" sign. Price information is posted there, and payment is on the honor system with cash or checks to be deposited where indicated.
We also sell books and media on the Internet at the Amazon Marketplace. Please visit our online storefront at:

Donations of gently used books and media are gladly accepted (with the exception of textbooks, Reader's Digest Condensed Books and magazines), and can be deposited in the donation bin near the lobby book sale area.
