The Friends are a non-profit organization supporting Cambrian Branch
Library programs. We purchase materials and support programs for
the Library with proceeds from used book sales, contributions and
membership dues. The Friends are advocates for Library services
and a vital part of the Library.

time of next meeting. We invite prospective members to attend.
Join the Friends
- Volunteer and help your neighborhood library (for as little
as one hour weekly)
- Help sort donations and organize them for sale in our Lobby
book nook and at book sales
- Use your special skills such as writing our newsletter, or
organizing a book sale
- Just fill
out this form and mail it to the address above or drop off
at the Library
How Friends'
Money Supplements the Library's Budget
- The purchase of materials, including books, magazines, books
on tape, videos and much more
- Summer Reading programs for children as well as storytellers,
puppets for story hour, and craft supplies
- Special programs for adults and teens such as author appearances
- Funding for furniture and many other special projects
How to Donate
Donations of gently used books, videos, DVDs and CDs are gladly
accepted (but not textbooks, magazines, encyclopedias, or Readers
Digest condensed books). Please deposit your items in the Friends'
Book Donation Slot next to the Checkout Machines.
Please make check donations payable to the Friends of
the Cambrian Branch Library and mail them to the address
above, or drop them off in the money donations wall slot in the
Friends' Lobby book nook.
Your donation of books, CDs, DVDs, videos or money is tax-deductible,
and receipts are available at the Information Desk on the first
floor.
Book Sales
There are books, CDs, DVDs, and videos for sale in the Lobby
book nook near the front door any time the Library is open. Prices
are posted there and payment is on the honor system with cash
or checks dropped in the wall slot in the book nook.
